PressReader delivers Canada’s historic issues to readers across the country
This Canada Day, Canadians can read historic issues of newspapers and magazines from across the country. Readers from Victoria to St. John’s can explore a catalog of vintage issues in the new Canada 150+ category on PressReader.com and the PressReader app starting today.
For the first time ever, The Globe and Mail’s July 1st, 1967 issue, which celebrated Canada’s centennial birthday, will be available digitally for all Canadians.
In addition, Toronto Star, Inuit Art Quarterly, The Walrus, Toronto Life, and many other publishers have searched their archives and made important issues available on PressReader. The historic stories range from a celebration of Celine Dion to the anniversary of the Titanic’s tragic sinking to the founding of Nunavut.
