Chamber Ambassadors visit Edward Jones for ribbon cutting and welcome Larson to team
The Valley City Chamber Ambassadors, joined Edward Jones, in welcoming Nicole Larson to their team with a ribbon cutting celebration on Wednesday, August 14th.
Larson shared a little about herself. “I am honored to be a part of Edward Jones with our rich history and culture for putting clients first. Using an established process, we partner with clients to build personalized financial strategies designed to achieve their unique goals.
Growing up outside of a small North Dakota farming community, I realized that helping others was always going to be a part of my life. I knew early on that I wanted to find a career where I could serve others. I learned the value of hard work and grit. I also learned the value of patience and keeping a steady pace, earning my bachelor’s degree in business education from Valley City State University. While teaching my first few years, I also attended the University of Jamestown and graduated with a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. After teaching high school FACS education at VCHS for seven years, I made the switch to the financial services industry, joining the Dakota Prairie Associates - Thrivent team, before coming to Edward Jones.
My husband, Brandon, and I have been married since 2019 and live in Valley City. Brandon farms and helps coach wrestling. We have two young children, Ellie and Jackson.
I value really getting to understand what is important to my clients, empathize with their concerns and challenges, work together to build an individualized strategy and partner with them for life.”
Larson tell us her official “Can Sell Date” was June 10th, joining Edward Jones veteran financial advisor, Nancy Hermanson, and BOA, Kelly Peterson.
Hermanson shares they are both very excited to have Larson join their team. “I feel very blessed. I have been looking for a long time for the right person to fit our team and I found that person in Nicole.” She says.
