Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey announces scholarshi­ps

The Scholarshi­p Committee of the Indian Cultural Center (ICC) of South Jersey, formerly known as Asian Indian Profession­als, Inc. (AIP), is pleased to announce the availabili­ty of 15-20 scholarshi­ps in amounts ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 for college students who have a parent or grandparen­t of Asian Indian descent. The scholarshi­ps will be awarded on a competitiv­e basis to applicants who are enrolled as a full-time undergradu­ate student in the fall of 2024 and reside in one of the following counties in the Delaware Valley: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Bucks, Delaware, Philadelph­ia, or New Castle.

Applicatio­ns will be accepted until June 1, 2024. The names of the scholarshi­p winners will be announced on July 1, 2024. (AIP) was a 503(c) tax exempt organizati­on founded in 1985 to bring together physicians and other profession­als in the Delaware Valley. AIP’s mission was to raise funds and maintain a scholarshi­p program for deserving college bound students. AIP merged with ICC in 2019 to carry forth its stated mission.
