Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey announces scholarships
The Scholarship Committee of the Indian Cultural Center (ICC) of South Jersey, formerly known as Asian Indian Professionals, Inc. (AIP), is pleased to announce the availability of 15-20 scholarships in amounts ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 for college students who have a parent or grandparent of Asian Indian descent. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to applicants who are enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in the fall of 2024 and reside in one of the following counties in the Delaware Valley: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Bucks, Delaware, Philadelphia, or New Castle.
Applications will be accepted until June 1, 2024. The names of the scholarship winners will be announced on July 1, 2024. (AIP) was a 503(c) tax exempt organization founded in 1985 to bring together physicians and other professionals in the Delaware Valley. AIP’s mission was to raise funds and maintain a scholarship program for deserving college bound students. AIP merged with ICC in 2019 to carry forth its stated mission.
