TAOS YOUTH FLIGHT RALLY will give Taos area youth ages 8-17 a chance to take to the skies on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Taos Regional Airport. Pilots will give free airplane rides and explain how their airplanes work. Registrati­on forms need to be completed and returned to the Taos Youth & Family Center, 407 Paseo del Cañon East, by Monday, Oct. 7 A drawing held Tuesday, Oct. 8 will select 70 participan­ts at random to be contacted on Wednesday, Oct. 9 to schedule a flight time. Flights will run 7:30–11 a.m. All youth must be pre-registered and accompanie­d by a parent or legal guardian. Event is weather permitting and depends on pilot availabili­ty.
