Oregon State adds home-and-home series with Wake Forest
Less than a week after Oregon State football gained some long-awaited clarity on its conference future, the Beavers have gone to work building their schedule for future seasons.
On Wednesday, OSU announced a future home-and-home matchup with Wake Forest. The Beavers will host the Demon Deacons at Reser Stadium in 2025 and then will travel to face Wake Forest at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium in 2029.
According to a press release, dates for both games will be made available at a later date.
The scheduling of the two games was made possible after Wake Forest
opted to "buy out" the return trip of its home-and-home series with Ole Miss after suffering a 40-6 loss on Saturday. Wake Forest will pay a $1,000,000 fee in order to cancel the game.
Oregon State now has seven opponents on the slate for 2025:
● vs. California (Aug. 30)
● vs. Fresno State (Sept. 6)
● at Texas Tech (Sept. 13)
● at Oregon (Sept. 20)
● vs. Houston (Sept. 27)
● at Washington State (TBD)
● vs. Wake Forest (TBD)
Last week, the Pac-12 announced that it has added four member schools for the 2026-27 academic year: Boise State University, Colorado State University, Fresno State and San Diego State University for the 2026-27 academic year.
According to OSU athletic direc
tor Scott Barnes, the Pac-12 and its member schools are working to quickly add two to four more schools to the conference.
"Certainly, we want to get it right," Barnes said last Saturday. "These are long-term historic decisions that we're making. We'll take the time to make sure they're the right new numbers. But the sooner we can move forward the better."
