PSP-Punxsy

• Police are investigat­ing a report of criminal mischief at 3:50 p.m. April 26 on Harmony Road in Young Township, Jefferson County. The victim reported that a man had smashed her phone.

• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 10:12 a.m. May 2 on Hemlock Lake Road in Banks Township, Indiana County. The driver of a 2023 Mack truck observed smoke coming from the rear of his vehicle, pulled over and called 9-1-1. The fire was extinguish­ed. No injuries were reported.

• Police received a report of a missing firearm on Monroe Street in Perry Township, Jefferson County. The weapon is a black .22 caliber revolver with a wooden handle. Anyone with informatio­n is asked to contact PSP-Punxsy at 814-9380510.

• Police responded to a vehicle vs. buggy crash at 6:07 a.m. May 2 on Route 119 in Henderson Township, Jefferson County. The driver of a 2018 Subaru Legacy failed to see a buggy and attempted to serve to avoid a crash, but struck it in the seven o’clock position, ejecting both driver and passenger from the buggy. The ejected parties sustained suspected minor injuries, as did the horse, but declined EMS transport. The driver of the first vehicle was cited for speeding.

• Police conducted a welfare check at 7:30 p.m.

April 29 on Clark Lane in Burnside Township, Clearfield County. The subject reportedly refused verbal commands and resisted arrested. Disorderly conduct charges were filed.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 8:13 p.m. April 30 on Route 119 in Henderson Township, Jefferson County. The driver was suspected of DUI and allegedly in possession of drug parapherna­lia. Charges are pending.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 9:31 a.m. April 30 on Bennetts Valley Highway in Huston Township, Clearfield County. The driver was suspected of DUI and allegedly in possession of a controlled substance. Charges are pending.

PSP-DuBois

• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 4:11 p.m. April 19 on Galusha Road in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. A 2014 Toyota Tundra failed to negotiate a turn and struck a telephone pole and two mailboxes.

• Police responded to a report of corruption of minors at 12:28 a.m. March 18 on Bennetts Valley Highway in Huston Township, Clearfield County. A minor received a message on Snapchat from an unknown person asking for obscene pictures.
