WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28

• A Veteran Service Officer is available every Wednesday from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the Life Enrichment Center/ Marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. The Service Officer is able to answer questions you may have and assist veterans with starting the initial paperwork to file their claim(s). No appointmen­ts are necessary, just stop by and take your turn at this walk-in clinic.

• The Plymouth Class of 1958 will meet each Wednesday in August at Christo’s Family Dining on N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. They will begin at 11:30 a.m. They’d love to see their classmates!

• Brief Legal Clinic is at 12 p.m. at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center , 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. Free 30-minute consultati­on sessions with an attorney are scheduled by calling us at (574)9369904. No walk-ins are accepted.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 30

• There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, located at 1660 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Power Red and Blood donations will be accepted. A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibilit­y requiremen­ts and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood. Blood donations are the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. • Notice is hereby given that the Bremen Police Commission will meet on Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m. instead of the regular scheduled date of Sept. 2 due to the holiday. This meeting will commence at the Bremen Town Hall, located at 104 W. Plymouth Street, Bremen. There will be an executive meeting to follow to discuss personnel. The public is invited to the meeting, and the Commission shall transact all such business as normally comes before the meeting.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

• On Thursday, September 12 the Heartland Camera Club will meet at the Life Enrichment Center at 1305 W. Harrison St. in Plymouth at 7 p.m. This club is for beginners to advanced photograph­ers. This club helps photograph­ers develop their skills. Meetings generally consist of a program on photograph­y and a chance to shoot and share photos on an assigned topic.

• There will be a meeting of the West Township Board on Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. at 10268 Carriage Court, Plymouth. During the meeting there will be the public hearing for the 2025 budget.

• Marshall County Relay for Life will be held Saturday, September 14, from 5-10 pm at River Park Square. Join us for our walk against cancer—an evening of music, food, silent auction, luminary ceremony and fellowship. The community is invited to join us.
