WEST PALM BEACH Ann Hallstrom Clark, a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmothe­r, passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2024. Born on January 5th, 1961, in Miami, FL, Ann was the beloved daughter of Gwendolyn and William Hallstrom.

Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and joy, survived by her adoring husband of 38 years, David (Dave) Clark; her beloved children, William (Billy) Clark and his wife Danielle, and Kendall (Clark) Ellison and her husband Ryan; her treasured grandchild­ren, Carter, Rhett, Paige, and Baker; and her loving brother, William (Will) Hallstrom and his wife Kathy Amezola.

A graduate of Florida State University, Ann dedicated her career to education. She was a passionate and loving educator in Palm Beach County for 35 years, ultimately serving as both a District Administra­tor and a Principal of three different schools, where she served the community and mentored countless teachers and educators. Her impact on the lives of thousands of students will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Ann married the love of her life, Dave, on December 28th, 1985. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Ann had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. She loved vacationin­g in Sanibel, sipping key lime martinis, and found joy in the fun passion of flower arranging. She also cherished spending summers in the mountains in Beech Mountain, NC. Above all, Ann treasured spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchild­ren.

A celebratio­n of Ann’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 3:00pm in the auditorium at John I. Leonard High School. In honor of Ann’s love for all things tropical and vibrant, we invite you to wear attire that reflects her joyful spirit. Please come dressed in tropical prints, florals, or your favorite Tommy Bahama outfit. Let’s celebrate her life with the colors and patterns she adored.
