Impact100 Oakland County is a collective of women dedicated to improving the lives of those in Oakland County through largescale charitable giving in the areas of health, education, environmental protection and social services. The annual $1,000 donations of the members are pooled into a fund for the grants. With 320 members in 2023, the nonprofit was able to award $320,000 in grants. Through donations from one of the nonprofit’s corporate sponsors, KPMG, the finalists received over $2,100 in additional funds.
Impact100 Oakland County looks forward to the advancements these groups will make with their grantfunded projects, according to a press release from Impact100.
“We are also proud to announce that 106 individuals have committed to becoming members in 2024,” said Katherine DiClaudio, Impact100 Oakland County president.
“This enthusiastic response not only ensures funding for one of the focus areas next year but also moves the organization closer to supporting all five focus areas.”
Impact100 has more than 60 chapters across the United States. Impact100 Oakland County was formed in 2016. Those interested in joining the organization, may complete the 2024 membership application on the organization’s website at Impact100OaklandCounty.org.
