Robert J. Liszkowski, age 81, of Wickliffe, passed away April 7, 2024. He was born on July 17, 1942 in Cleveland, OH. Robert resided in Wickliffe for many years, attending Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church as a parishioner. He dedicated 36 years of service to Lincoln Electric before retiring. When Robert was not working, he spent his free time collecting bicycles. He was given the name “Bicycle Bob” because of his passion for collecting and repairing them to sell or donate to people in his community. Robert enjoyed staying active. He was a cyclist, an avid golfer and dedicated many years to coaching wrestling and baseball. Robert and his wife cherished traveling together, with Florida being one of their favorite destinations among many memorable trips. Family held the utmost importance for Robert, as he cherished spending time with his children and held a deep affection for his grandchildren. Robert was a devoted husband to Judith (nee Marysiak) for 59 years; cherished father to Michael (Vicki Easter), Robert (Dawn), and Lisa (Bill) Janosick; beloved grandfather to Jamie, Jessica, Chynna (Colin) Hale, Randy (Kelly) Ferrari, Jr., Bradley (deceased), Shane (Brooke) Becker and Danielle (Bill) Kinder; beloved great grandfather of six; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass. Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. at a later date.
