INDIANAPOL­IS - Isabelle Joyce Stafford Jeffries went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Harrison Stafford, her mother, Clara Mabel Julien Stafford, her brother, Roderick Benjamin Stafford, her sister Ritta Elizabeth Stafford Brinkman, her brother-in-law Marvin Roy Brinkman, her nephew David Brinkman and her nephew-in-law, Larry Stewart. She was born on March 25, 1925, in Indianapol­is, IN, and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, where she was a drummer in the Drum & Bugle Corps. She graduated from Indiana Business College & earned her CPS. She was an executive secretary for Jenn-Air Corporatio­n for 29 years. She was a long-time member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church, where she sang with the chancel choir & was a member of many church groups & Bible Study. She was an avid clog-dancer with the “Circle City Cloggers” & the “Still Kickin’ Cloggers”. She was an excellent seamstress, making clothes for many friends & family, a member of D.A.R. & a fan of Indianapol­is Colts & Notre Dame football. She loved sketching and watching Andy Griffith, Matlock & Columbo. Her greatest love was our Lord, Church & family. Isabelle is survived by two sons, Robert Wayne Jeffries (Stacy), and Richard Kevin Jeffries, one daughter, Susan Lynn (Jeffries) Schmanski, six grandchild­ren, Wendy Lynn (Schmanski) Druckemill­er (Mitchell), Matthew Benjamin Schmanski (Kathryn), John Edward Schmanski II, Jenna Michelle Elliot, Meghan Nicole (Jeffries) Holden (Ryan), Alison Quin Jeffries, eight great-grandchild­ren, John Parker Willeroy, Jackson Wilder Schmanski, RUBY Noelle Schmanski, Joseph Zachary Schmanski Levi Holden, Jude Ryan Holden, Meghan Jeanne Holden, Jet Ryan Holden, niece, Bonnie Elizabeth Brinkman, nephew Alan Roy Brinkman & many great nieces & nephews. Our hearts are linked forever. We are so happy to have had you in our lives. Your light will forever shine, MOM. WE LOVE YOU!!!

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 12-1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapol­is, IN 46228.
