Initially, I thought the LMPD police chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel was going to be the fresh air and open window toward transparency in the community. But I believe now that was a huge mistake. The entire administration is mishandling incidents, like arresting the number 1 golfer in the world, and therefore continuing to taint Metro Louisville's image to the rest of the world.

LMPD Chief has proven integrity issues
The current Chief should have never been hired due to the suspension in Atlanta. That is a comment on her integrity, and this was proven again when she lied about her body cam after the wreck.
Mayor Greenberg is to blame, he should have opened the position of Chief with full transparency to the public he serves. I am pretty sure he passed on more qualified candidates, but the current chief checked all the DEI boxes. We need true, proven leaders in Public Service, not figure heads or "yes" men/ women. You get what you vote for!

The Louisville police department needs an overhaul
The Department of Justice gave it's ruling on LMPD and their report proves LMPD is not capable of redeeming their behavior and image. LMPD leadership needs overhaul. The PGA incident total embarrassment and could lead to potential losses in revenue for future business. LMPD is a poor example of how they assess situations and make arrests and, sadly to say, murder it's citizens. The DOJ is reporting is correct. Their irrational, renegade, over zealous behavior is very costly. I have personally experienced what I've written about in LMPD's behavior. The history of LMPD's behavior, polices and poor leadership has gone on far too long. From Adrian Reynolds to Breonna Taylor and now their behavior at PGA has gone world wide. What else can possibly happen for LMPD to realize they need to get their entire department overhauled? I do not have a favorable outlook for LMPD until drastic measures are taken from top to bottom.
