2024 ALL-NORTH JERSEY TEAMS

After an exciting season, the following bowlers have been selected to the 2024 All-North Jersey girls bowling teams. The North Jersey Girls Bowler of the Year will be announced at the North Jersey High School Sports AwardsNorth Jersey High School Sports Awards, presented by Englewood Health, on June 28. All first-teamers are nominees for Bowler of the Year.
FIRST TEAM Allison Babino Indian Hills senior
A second-team pick last season, Babino moves up after anchoring the Braves to their second consecutive sectional title. She averaged 173 overall and 202 in a three-game state semifinal against Holy Angels, and her timely strikes helped force a tiebreaker roll-off in the Bergen County team Baker finals.
Kayla McManus Bergen Tech sophomore
The Saddle Brook resident fired the high game (266) and series (650) in qualifying at the Bergen County individual tournament and brought home the title as the top seed in the stepladder finals. She averaged 179 overall and had 35 games of 170-plus, second in North Jersey behind teammate Kaitlyn Zens.
Leah Rodriguez Becton senior
Author of the top girls average in the coed NJIC (179), Rodriguez helped the Wildcats topple rival Lyndhurst in the North 2, Group 2 final after finishing second in the Meadowlands Division by 3 points. The lefty also qualified for the Bergen County individual
stepladder finals, placing fourth.
Monica Rodriguez Becton senior
Rodriguez joins her twin Leah on the first team thanks to a 174 average that helped her qualify for the NJSIAA individual finals (where she opened the tournament by singing the national anthem). The right-hander’s high game and series for the 18-2 Wildcats were 231 and 610, respectively.
Samantha Seneres Bergen Tech junior
Seneres jumps up from the 2023 second team after leading the Knights to the Bergen County team title with a clutch performance – she converted a 3-4-6-10 split in the last frame of an 87-84 Baker tiebreaker win. She averaged 176 overall and placed in the top 30 at the NJSIAA individual finals.
Kaitlyn Zens Bergen Tech freshman
Zens burst onto the scene by finishing second with a 613 series at the Crusader Classic early in the season, then ended the winter with the top finish of any North Jersey bowler at the NJSIAA individual finals (20th). She averaged 177 for the Big North Liberty and Bergen County champions.
