Marietta Bariso
BOCA RATON - Marietta Bariso loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on the morning of February 5, 2024.
Marietta was born in Clifton, NJ on June 17,
1942 to George and Helen (Brennan) Collura.
In 1963, Marietta married Anthony Bariso. Together they began their family in 1966 and ultimately settled in Butler, NJ where they would go on to raise their three children. First and foremost, Marietta was a mother who loved the title and all the responsibilities that came with it. A stay-at-home mom, Marietta’s life was centered around her children and their upbringing. Team mom, PTA, class mom, you name it, she did it for her children. Never wanting to be the center of attention, you could always find her quietly tucked away in bleachers cheering on her children during their many years of competitive sports.
Upon their retirement in 2005, Marietta and her husband relocated to Boca Raton, Fl where she remained until her passing.
Marietta was preceded in death by her parents George and Helen Collura and her husband of 60 years only three short weeks ago.
Marietta is survived by her children George (Lisa), Todd (Jennifer) and Jenice Sisco as well as six adored grandchildren John Bariso, Zachary Bariso, Jenelle Conforth, Benjamin Bariso, Amanda Bariso and Jared Sisco. She also leaves behind brother-in-law Angelo Bariso of Las Vegas, NV, sister-in-law Theresa Bariso (Ed Nicholson) of Hillsboro Beach, FL and Nephew David Cagna (Lisa) of Portland, OR.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 12 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
