“Five Feet Apart” (2019)

Based on the eponymous novel by Rachael Lippincott and adapted by Mikki Daughtry (“The Curse of La Llorona,” 2019) and Tobias Iaconis (“Night books,” 2021), “Five Feet Apart” (2019) is available to stream on Prime Video as of Tuesday, July 30. Coming from director Justin Baldoni, (“Clouds,” 2020), the film’s story was inspired by Claire Wineland — a friend of the director who struggled with cystic fibrosis — and stars Haley Lu Richardson (“The White Lotus”) as Stella and Cole Sprouse (“Riverdale”) as Will, two teenagers struggling with the difficult, often fatal, disease. With weakened immune systems, the blossoming couple faces an impossible hurdle as they must remain five feet apart at all times to keep their illnesses from getting any worse. a touching story, “five Feet Apart” also stars Moises Arias (“Fallout”), Kimberly Herbert Gregory (“Vice Principals”), Parminder Nagra (“Bend It Like Beckham,” 2002), Claire Forlani (“Meet Joe Black,” 1998), Emily Baldoni (“Coherence,” 2013), Gary Weeks (“Outer Banks”), Cynthia Evans (“Stargirl”), Brett Austin Johnson (“The Spirit God Gave Us,” 2022),Ariana Guerra (“Helstrom”) and Sophia Bernard (“The Blazing World,” 2021).

“Batman: Caped Crusader” - Season 1

“Lisa Frankenste­in” (2024)

Starring Kathryn Newton (“Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumani­a,” 2023), Cole Sprouse (“Riverdale”) and Liza Soberano (“Everyday I Love You,” 2015), Zelda Williams’ (“Were the World Mine,” 2008) directoria­l debut, “Lisa Frankenste­in,” makes its streaming debut this Tuesday, July 30, on Prime Video. written by Diablo Cody — who also wrote the screenplay for “Jennifer’s Body” (2009) — this latest project is said to be set in the same universe as the aforementi­oned film, following a young girl named Lisa (Newton) as she develops a crush on a handsome corpse (Sprouse) who was brought back to life following a fortuitous strike of lightning. Fighting against a world that doesn’t understand them, the duo embark on a journey filled with young love, exploratio­n, and a few missing body parts. Equally comedic and horrific, “Lisa Frankenste­in” was brought to life by a cast including Jenna Davis (“M3GAN,” 2022),Trina Lafargue (“Secrets of Sulphur Springs”) and Henry Eikenberry (“Euphoria”).
