The HIP (Hope, Inspiration and Protection) Mentoring
Children of Prisoners Program needs volunteers to serve as positive role models, friends, advocates and listeners for children between the ages of 4 and 18 who live in Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas. Hospice of Texarkana, a non-profit agency, seeks friendly volunteers to visit patients at homes, facilities and in the Hospice Care Center. We also need office support, people who can crochet or knit, people to make calls or assemble marketing items. Housing Authority of Texarkana, Texas, Neighborhood needs volunteers to teach free computer, resume writing, job preparation and other educational or certification classes.
