TOP PERFORMANC­ES

Nadia Andarowski, Watertown: Went 3-0, allowing one earned run on eight hits and two walks with 38 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched.

Joa Arroyo, Aerospace/Bloomfield:

Earned the win and struck out 14 while collecting three hits and driving in five runs in a 19-1 win over HMTCA. Julia Bacoulis, Masuk: Hit a walk-off three-run home run in Masuk’s 7-4 win over North Branford. She also threw a complete game shutout with 13 strikeouts and only three hits allowed in a 1-0 win over New Milford.

Skylar Barton, Seymour:

Threw a one-hitter with five strikeouts in Seymour’s 5-0 win over Oxford. Emma Bayor, Old Lyme:

Threw two no-hitters this week. She struck out nine while going 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored in Old Lyme’s 13-0 win over Valley Regional and struck out 13 against New London. She also threw a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts while getting intentiona­lly walked four times in a 13-1 win over East Hampton.

Emelia Brandi, North Haven: The sophomore went 7-for-10 with a home run and a double as North Haven defeated Jonathan Law and West Haven. Leah Chatfield, Naugatuck: In a 3-1 week for Naugatuck, Chatfield allowed one earned run in 25.2 innings pitched, surrenderi­ng just nine hits and five walks while striking out 48, including a no-hitter against WCA. She also hit three triples.

Katie Dzialo, St. Joseph:

Threw a complete game shutout with 15 strikeouts while only allowing three hits in the Cadets’ 1-0 win over Darien.

Ana Fagan, Sacred Heart Academy: Allowed one earned run and one hit while striking out 17 in SHA’s 4-2 win over Lauralton Hall.

Camryn Fisher, Ellington:

Threw a one-hitter with 17 strikeouts in Ellington’s 2-0 win over Brookfield. Amelia Jacob, Shepaug:

Threw a five-inning perfect game, striking out all 15 batters she faced on just 50 pitches (45 strikes) in a 23-0 win over Gilbert.

Pip Karch, Mercy: Pitched a complete game allowing two unearned runs on five hits and one walk with seven strikeouts while going 2for-3 with a home run, a double and five RBIs in Mercy’s 6-2 win over North Haven.

Brielle Kenney, Waterford:

Thew a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk as Waterford defeated Killingly 5-0. She also doubled and scored a run.

Vivian Knott, Darien:

Threw a complete game shutout, allowing one hit and striking out nine in Darien’s 3-0 win over Trumbull.

Trinity LaValley, Sheehan:

Threw a complete game five-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with a triple in Sheehan’s 9-0 win over East Haven. Lillian Martineau, Lewis Mills: The baseball turned softball player went 12for-15 (.800) with three home runs, six doubles, 27 total bases, eight RBIs and nine runs scored in a 3-1 week for Lewis Mills. Jenica Matos, Cheshire:

The sophomore threw a no-hitter against No. 4 Southingto­n, striking out 15 batters in the Rams 4-1 win. She also threw a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over Amity.

Rosanna Merturi, Fairfield Ludlowe: Went 6-for-11 with four RBIs and four runs scored in Ludlowe’s 3-0 week.

Sydney Miller, Brookfield:

Earned the win in Brookfield’s 3-2 victory over Ridgefield, striking out eight and hitting a walk-off two-run double. She finished the week allowing two earned runs on seven hits and five walks with 24 strikeouts in 15 innings pitched.

Rachael Morales, E.O. Smith: The junior went 8for-13 (.615) to help lead the Panthers to a 3-1 week. Marley Orosz, O’Brien Tech: Threw a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk in a 13-0 win over Whitney Tech in which she also hit a home run, a triple, and drove in three runs. Bri Pellicone, Newtown: In a 3-0 week for Newtown, Pellicone went 7-for-9 (.779) with 11 total bases. Elizabeth Raefski, Pomperaug: Reached 100 career hits with two knocks in a 21-1 win over Kolbe Cathedral. The Pomperaug school record is 136 hits. Julia Rowley, Woodland:

In a 4-0 week for Woodland, Rowley went 11-for-15 with three home runs, 16 RBIs, nine runs and 26 total bases. She hit for the cycle against Kennedy.

Julia Scibek, Jonathan Law: Trailing 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning and two outs, Scibek hit a tworun home run in Law’s 3-2 win over Foran.

Addie Smith, Guilford: Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in Guilford’s 6-1 win over Hamden.

Ashley Stimpson, Wilcox Tech: Went 4-for-5 with a home run, two stolen bases and four RBIs in a 19-2 win over Wolcott Tech.

Maggie Sudimick, Seymour: Hit two home runs and a single with four RBIs in Seymour’s 9-5 win over St. Paul.

Lilah Talaga, Coventry: In the Patriots’ 4-0 week, Talaga went 5-for-12 with three home runs, seven RBIs, and seven runs scored.

Sophie Tetreault, Lyman Hall: Earned the win in a complete game in which she allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts and also hit a three-run home run in Lyman Hall’s 7-2 win over Sheehan.

Lacie Volpe, Maloney: The catcher went 3-for-4 with five RBIs and two triples in the Spartans’ 19-5 win over Avon.

GAMES TO WATCH

No. 3 St. Joseph at No. 9 Trumbull, Wednesday, 4:15 p.m.: This will be the second time the cross-town rivals meet this season. St. Joseph won the first meeting 3-1.

No. 8 Amity at North Haven, Wednesday, 7 p.m.: North Haven barely missed the Top 10 in this week’s poll, but has a chance to move up in a rematch of last year’s SCC Championsh­ip game. North Haven already beat Amity 2-1 this year, will it be a regular season sweep?

No. 6 Fairfield Ludlowe at No. 5 Ridgefield, Thursday, 4 p.m.: This is a tough week for Ludlowe, having to face the two other highest ranked teams in the FCIAC. This will be the first matchup this year between the Falcons and the Tigers.

No. 1 Masuk at Newtown, Friday, 4:15 p.m.: A rematch of last year’s SWC Championsh­ip game, which Newtown won 8-0.
