Mr. Brandon James Price, age 45, of Rome, GA, entered into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Brandon was born in Atlanta, GA, on May 4, 1979, son of Mr. James R. “Jim” Price and the late Donna Sue Byrd Price. He was also preceded in death by an uncle, Charles Price. Brandon worked in Engineerin­g at Northside Hospital-sandy Springs and also part-time time at Advent-redmond Hospital in the Radiology Department. He coached girls’ youth softball for many years with the Rome Fury and Bomb Squad teams, as well as coaching numerous sports his son was a part of. Brandon was a faithful member of Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church and the Home Builders Sunday School Class.

Family was everything to Brandon. He was a great husband and loved his children more than anything on this Earth. He was an avid sports fan especially the Atlanta Braves and his Georgia Bulldogs, but basketball could keep he and Becca entranced for hours. To know Brandon was to love him and as one friend described it, “If you knew Brandon and didn’t like him, something is wrong with you.” He loved

hungry to help those in need. Brandon’s compassion and care was unmatched at both work and in life and was always calm under pressure no matter the circumstan­ce. He had a deep love of Theology and was constantly studying

closer to God.

Survivors include his wife, Becca Brock Price, Rome, to whom he was married on July 24, 2012; 2 children, Brock and Blakelyn Price; his father, Jim Price; sister, Bethany Price Gordon (Neil); mother-in-law, Susan Yarbrough; 3 nieces, Kaitlin, Kiley, and Karoline Gordon; his uncles, David Price (Betsy) and Al Byrd; an aunt, Jean Price; numerous cousins, extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with his pastor, Dr. Philip May,

The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, May 17, 2024, as well as an hour prior to the service on Saturday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel

Pallbearer­s are to assemble by 2:30pm on Saturday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: active, Brad Cartwright, Neil Gordon, Josh Agan, Justin Irvin, Chad Carney, Stephen Laseter, D.J. Brock, Frank Dougherty, and Dennis Cochran; honorary, members of the PVS Home Builders Sunday School Class.

In memory of Brandon and as a tribute to his laid-back style, the family requests attendees wear jeans and a red, black, or University of Georgia shirt.
