Kick off season with Jags-Fins DFS stack

- dloftis@nypost.com

THE LONG winter of the NFL offseason is finally ending. And what better way to usher in a glorious football fall than a visit to sunny Miami for a daily fantasy vacation?

We’re choosing the JaguarsDolphins game for our first stack of the season because there are some wonderful values to be found — particularly on the Jags’ side.

This early in the season, some players we feel are dramatically underpriced — Terry McLaurin, Devin Singletary, Jerome Ford, Javonte Williams, Jake Ferguson, Chris Godwin, Diontae Johnson, Chuba Hubbard and Courtland Sutton.

But our interests are narrowed by our desire to build around JagsDolphins. And we start by adding a pair of underpriced Jags pass catchers in Christian Kirk ($6,100 FanDuel) and Evan Engram ($6,200). We can toss in an affordable Trevor Lawrence ($7,400), and we’re off and running toward a Sunshine State stack.

Of course, we want some exposure to the other side, and last year’s touchdown leader, Raheem Mostert, is surprisingly cheap ($6,600) — he is healthy, and historically he produces when healthy.

Since we’re off to such a thrifty start, we’ll go ahead and add topshelf option Tyreek Hill ($9,600) to the mix since we think there are enough additional bargains ahead to work in such a hefty salary.

With a robust collection comprising our Florida stack, we can turn our attention to another target game — Cardinals at Bills. If this game was on a Target shelf, whoever had the price gun when they put a $6,100 tag on James Conner would get canned. A feature RB has no business being this cheap. He averaged nearly 18 PPR points per game with Kyler Murray last season.

We’re gonna tap the other side of that game with Dalton Kincaid ($6,800) in our Flex spot, because we are expecting this one to be a shootout, as well.

We’re down to just two remaining spots, and we have one more idea of how to save a bit of coin. The Giants have added to their pass rush with the trade for Brian Burns. Teamed with Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux, suddenly the Big Blue D-line looks quite formidable.

And here’s the other thing: They don’t have to be otherworldly to rattle Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold. The former Jets, Panthers and 49ers QB has never fared well under pressure, and we expect the Giants should be able to apply some. So we’ll use the Giants DEF ($3,800).

There is one WR spot still open, somehow still $7,400 to spend, and no duds on the roster. We have some quality names to choose from — Brandon Aiyuk, Nico Collins, Chris Olave, DK Metcalf , DJ Moore, Drake London. But we’re going to opt for a Week 1 kickoff to the Cooper Kupp comeback tour ($7,000).

With a lineup like the one we just built, hopefully it will rain cash on our sunny squad.
