Gatsby gets green light to party

-

LEONARDO DiCaprio to the rescue! The “Great Gatsby” star was spotted playing good Samaritan over the weekend in the Hamptons when he helped out an inebriated guest at a bash thrown by his longtime pal Richie Akiva on Saturday night.

“At one point Leo picked up a very drunk guy and put him by a pole. The guy was literally falling over,” said a spy at the party, held at fintech mogul David Rosenberg’s Bridgehampton estate. “Leo put out his hand on [the pole] so he wouldn’t fall and said, ‘Stay there.’ ”

We’re told the guy obeyed the star, and “stayed holding on to the pole.”

DiCaprio, 49, was at the bash with his BFF Tobey Maguire, while his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, 26, is in Capri, Italy, shooting a steamy ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana with actor Theo James. “All the girls were surrounding Leo,” said a spy.

A source tells us DiCaprio and Ceretti are still a couple. They were last seen together in May at a Rolling Stones concert.

Rapper A$AP Ferg performed at the Hamptons estate party, where guests also included Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, NBA star James Harden, Kris Jenner’s beau Corey Gamble and newly single Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.

On Friday, DiCaprio, Maguire and Akiva were at a party hosted by Ambra Battilana Gutierrez — one of the women who brought down disgraced mogul Harvey Weinstein — and Lizzy Aiello at Scott Weissman’s home in East Hampton. Weissman is CEO of lifestyle brand Grey/Ven, which launched a flagship store in the town in May.

“It was a huge house party in the basement with $30,000 to $50,000 paintings on the walls,” said a spy. Gutierrez DJ’d in front of guests including Montana Tucker.

Indefatigable DiCaprio also attended Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July bash, with guests such as Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Tom Brady, Drake, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.
