SOPHIE ON HER CHOICES

Kids, work, divorce & pal Taylor

Sophie Turner is hitting back at mom-shamers.

The “Game of Thrones” alum denied reports that circulated amid her and Joe Jonas’ divorce alleging she had left daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, to go party.

“Those were the worst few days of my life,” Turner, 28, told British Vogue, clarifying that she is “a good mum” and has “never been a partier.”

The actress looked back on when the “articles started coming out” last year while she was filming “Joan” in Europe. She recalled, “I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My kids were in the States, and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish. “It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother — mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true.’ ”

‘Amicable’ with Joe

After wrapping, Turner flew to New York City, where she and Jonas, 34, underwent mediation. The former couple, who married in Las Vegas in May 2019, reached an “amicable” custody resolution in October 2023. However, the “Dark Phoenix” star filed to “reactivate” their divorce in March following failed attempts to settle child custody and property.

She called Willa and Delphine the “victims” of their divorce. “I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children,” she said. “But I think we’re doing the best we can. I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children, and that’s all that I can ask for.”

Turner and Jonas got together in 2016 and had their first baby four years later when Turner was 24 years old.

“Maybe because I was so young, I sat on [my positive pregnancy test] for a week,” she revealed. “Thankfully there were therapists there to help me talk things through. I told my husband when I got back [from a retreat in Bali].”

Turner said she “threw” the test at the Jonas Brothers member and asked, “What do you think we should do? Do you think we should have it?”

She explained that her life had been “frivolous” before, saying, “I really didn’t know if I wanted to be a mother, but something changed in me that day. I just knew I had to have her.”

Willa was born in July 2020, with Delphine arriving two years later.

Turner clarified that baby No. 2 was planned.

“Because my ex and I travel so much, I wanted Willa to have a sibling,” she said. “I wanted them to have each other.”

The Emmy nominee called her “miracle” daughters “so much fun, total girlie girls and absolute rays of sunshine in my life.”

‘An absolute hero’

As for her divorce, Turner says her savior was Taylor Swift, who let Sophie stay in Swift’s New York City apartment.

“Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year,” she said.

Turner met Swift about 10 years ago, but they were not close initially because Jonas had briefly dated the “Love Story” singer in 2008.

“I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold,” the actress gushed.

Page Six exclusively reported in October 2023 that Swift had let Turner crash at her $50 million Tribeca compound rent-free after the English star initially stayed at a hotel in Midtown.

“The support I had from the women in my life during that time was the most amazing thing to see. I felt so held and so protected,” she shared.

“It felt like I was watching a movie of my life that I hadn’t written, hadn’t produced or starred in. It was shocking. I’m still in shock.”
