William A. Weirsman

William A. Weirsman, age 75, of Orange, CT passed away on December 1, 2023, at CT Hospice in Branford. He was born on April 30, 1948, in New Haven, CT to the late Walter A. and Vera Need Weirsman. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Welter Weirsman, devoted son and daughter, Kevin (Stephanie) Weirsman and Sarah Weirsman, cherished granddaugh­ter Brynn, sister Nancy Olson of Boston, MA. and nephew William C. Perfetto Jr. (Darcy). He was predecease­d by his sister Susan Raines of Oregon.

Bill received his degree in Industrial Design from the University of Bridgeport and establishe­d his own business specializi­ng in product design from 1977 - 2008. He was a talented and creative man whose ability to conceptual­ize and problem solve led to exquisite results in his profession­al endeavors and in the homes, he designed and remodeled for his family, which he always placed as his priority. Most recently, Bill proudly joined son Kevin, part time, in his commercial real estate business, which both enjoyed greatly.

When not working, golf was Bill’s passion. He enjoyed social time with friends and membership­s at Highland Country Club,

Race Brook Country Club and at the Paugussett Club over the years. A good hand of cards was also a favorite, as well as the occasional trip to Mohegan Sun.

A celebratio­n of life will be held in Bill’s honor at a later date.
