and Canada, that is building a thriving future for young people, their families and communities.

“We are thrilled to welcome San Miguel as the newest member of the Nativitymiguel Coalition. Their unwavering commitment to delivering quality, affordable, and faithbased education through an extended day and year and comprehensive support for students transitioning to high school and beyond resonates deeply with our mission,” said Daniel Pérez, Executive Director of the Coalition. “These core values are at the heart of our Coalition, where we strive to help over 3,800 students across 19 States and Canada become their best, authentic selves. As San Miguel School of Tulsa joins our family of Gfty member schools, we look forward to amplifying their positive impact on their students, alums, families, and the wider community they serve as they celebrate their 20th anniversary!"

Nativitymiguel schools have uniquely impacted communities across the country by providing a quality, faith-based education for students from challenging environments.. The Jesuits founded the Grst school, Nativity Mission

Center, in 1971 in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City. More than 50 years later, the Coalition is stronger than ever before.

“From the basement to the stars. That is the fascinating story of San Miguel. A school that started in the basement of Saint Francis Xavier Church, in the heart of Kendall Whittier neighborhood, and now, we have a truly wonderful group of ambassadors that are changing the world,” said Juan Miret, President of San Miguel. “It is an incredible honor to be part of this national coalition. 50 schools with one mission: Build a brighter future with bricks of education.”

San Miguel is a non-tuition driven school, with an innovative model, and a very active after school program. “Every kid deserves access to a quality equitable education that will allow them to reach their full potential. It is the best path to individual success and for the collective success of our community,” said Miret. “Twenty years later, San Miguel continues inspiring others. And we are just starting. Living our motto: Enter to Learn. Leave to Serve.”
