THE TENTH LIFE PET OF THE WEEK
Name: Gem
Gender: Female
Color: Calico
Age: 1 year
Weight: 9 pounds
Gem was a stray in Riverside. When she came to The Tenth Life, she had severe infection in both eyes. With lots of TLC and medicine, we were able to save one of her eyes. Gem, having been through all the treatment and change of environment, was not really friendly to her roommates. She gets along well with all the people she encounters on a daily basis. She likes to get in your lap and cuddle (no extra charge for the purring), as long as you can enjoy her company. She has a marvelous personality and is more than happy to share her love with people. Gem could make a great addition to your family, if you give her the opportunity. She would prefer to be an only cat.
Spayed/neutered: Done. She is also blood-tested for feline AIDS, feline leukemia, and feline heartworm, vaccinated for distemper, leukemia, and rabies and microchipped for identification.
Where to adopt: The Tenth Life is in Beavercreek Twp. This shelter has a gigantic selection of cats and kittens. All are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for viruses, and microchipped for identification.
All adoptions are by appointment only, so that we may accompany you and provide assistance in the selection of the right cat(s) for your family.
Cost: $85. This fee includes all medical treatments already performed, an identification tag and collar, a cardboard cat carrier, and our booklet on proper cat care.
If you would like to join us as a volunteer to help care for the cats and kittens, contact us at 937-376-5550.
