University of South Dakota freshman Miles Krajewski arrived on campus to a party in his honor. He might've missed the first week of classes, but that didn't deter friends, family, and fellow students from lining the streets of the campus eager to show their support and appreciation.
Krajewski won a silver medal in mixed doubles badminton at the Paralympics in Paris, the first-ever badminton medal in United States Olympic and Paralympic history.
Krajewski, silver medal around his neck, cruised the streets of Vermillion atop a red convertible waving to those in attendance. The freshman hopes to compete in the 2026 Paralympics in Los Angeles and bring home the gold.
