Snow may seem a little shy at first, but eventually her friendly, goofy side emerges. She is full of energy and loves to play. She has a good personalit­y and loves to wag her

tail vivaciousl­y. She can get what is called “happy tail,” when dogs wag their tails so vigorously that it causes injuries. She enjoys de-stuffing toys and loves treats. She already knows sit and shake (both paws), and walks nicely on a leash. Snow can be viewed at the center during its open hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Her playful spirit is contagious, and her energy knows no bounds. She’s the epitome of friendline­ss and loyalty, with a dash of goofiness that will

keep you entertaine­d. Dotty has a gentle soul, leaning into a person for pets, and her bouncy personalit­y adds a spark of fun to every day. Juniper is a 1-year-old, cream and white, female Siberian husky mix that was found in the Lancaster area and brought to the Lancaster Animal Care Center. She was injured and limping when she arrived and was still very sweet and submissive during her intake exam. Juniper has recently had a litter of puppies that were not found anywhere near her. She weighs around 54 pounds and has a medium energy level. Juniper walks well on a leash and is tolerant of other dogs. She was calm and social during her behavior assessment but distanced herself from the dogs with higher energy. Juniper is recommende­d to go to a home with calm dogs. Juniper is not spayed yet due to a skin irritation on her abdomen and will need to be assessed by a private vet. Mr. Fancy Pants is an 8-year-old, neutered poodle/Maltese mix that was brought to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray. He is a sweet little guy that seeks affection from staff. He is small and weighs under 16 pounds with a medium to low energy level. Mr. Fancy Pants is an older gentleman that has some health issues with his teeth, but overall he in good health. He has been kenneled with several other small dogs without incident. Mr. Fancy Pants is neutered, microchipp­ed and current on his vaccines. Chloe is a 12-year-old, black, spayed female Labrador retriever mix that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray. She is a very sweet and calm girl that’s friendly with people and dogs alike. She was easily handled during her medical exam and was friendly with staff. She weighs under 50 pounds and has a sweet and easy-going demeanor. Chloe does have some age-related minor medical issues that will need to be evaluated by a private vet.
