Festival
Harvest and Wine Festival has, well, yes, wine. But also: spirits and hard cider tastings, cooking demonstrations, wine pairing classes, games, a hay maze, kids activities, pumpkin carvings, food, local artisans and music from Joe Adee and the Lugnuts, Tame the Rooster and Big Sky Country.

“What if ” questions inspire writers, artists and filmmakers to create new worlds and imagine alternate realities. “It Came from Schenectady: Scifi in the Electric City,” explores the “what ifs” that inspired the creations of local science fiction innovators, including Kurt Vonnegut, P. Schuyler Miller, Ray Nelson, Glendora and Pamela Sargent and the legacy of science fiction in Schenectady County.

With Megan Marino & Michael Mayes: The Songs and Cycles of Evan Mack, world-class opera singers Marino (mezzo-soprano) and Mayes (baritone) will perform the songs and cycles of composer and Skidmore faculty member Evan Mack, premiering works that address marriage, drug addiction, healing, grief, war’s impact, women’s empowerment and LGBTQ+ rights.
