Ann Marie Shutack
AURORA - Ann Marie Shutack (nee Jansen), age 94 of Chagrin Falls. Beloved wife of 41 years to the late Burton G. Shutack; dearest mother of Marianne Doman (Joseph), Robert Shutack (Mary), Carolyn Shutack, and Lisa Shutack; loving grandmother of Caitlin Newman (Ryan), Claire Chappell (Patrick), Andrew Doman (Molly), Grace Doman (fiancé Michael Scully), Jack Shutack (Amanda), Robert Shutack, and Bridget Adams (Nicholas); fond great-grandmother of Luc, Maeve, Quinn, Colette, Mae, Charlie, Nell, Owen and Ellie; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mom was the youngest of eleven children from a large Catholic family. She was doted on by her siblings and in return she was a favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mom was the perfect example of a caring, holy, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved well and used every opportunity to share and pass on her faith. She worked her rosary beads daily. Mom was the happiest with a child on her lap or reading a good book.
Mom was an active member of both St. Clare and St. Joan of Arc Parishes. She was involved in many church organizations including Women’s Guild, RCIA, Eucharistic minister, visiting and taking communion to the homebound. Mom will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
