Earl is a four-year starter entering his second year as Falls quarterback and will be the engine of the Black Tigers offense. … “We will probably go where he takes us,” said Pask. “He’s the guy that’s running it. He starting to understand those fundamental areas of our offense.” … Lindsey returns after claiming Falls’ starting running back spot. … “He’s an explosive kid. There’s a few times I’d rather see him run away from defenders instead of running over them.” … Boyer will be the anchor of the Falls defense as a three-year starter at defensive end. … “I couldn’t ask for anything more from him in the weight room. I know were going to ask a lot of him on the field.”
What’s new in 2024 for Cuyahoga Falls football
The Black Tigers have two new coordinators this season. Richie Brown joins Falls as defensive coordinator from Nordonia and brings with him a 4-3 multiple formation set. Adam Riegler has been promoted to offensive coordinator. He is in his second year with Falls after coming from Notre Dame College. … “Now that I have a DC, I can be there as the head coach more this season,” Pask said. “I trust my coaches and don’t have to be there for everything, so I can focus on the big picture.”
Cuyahoga Falls’ football’s outlook
After two wins last season, is Falls looking to reach .500 for the first time in years … “Our goal is to win today,” Pask said. “I’ve actually told my coaches, ‘If there is anyone thinking about Week 4 or 5, don’t worry about it.’” … With a senior class with several multi-year starters and growing numbers of underclassmen, Falls hopes to score its first win in the American Conference this fall.
