Hunter Matthew Ebie

-

Hunter Matthew Ebie, age 11, lovingly known as “Bub” or “Lil FatFat” to those who knew him best, went to be with Jesus and his Uncle John on June 7, 2024.

Hunter was born on October 15, 2012 in Akron, Ohio and was excited to start sixth grade with his friends at Schrop Intermediate School in Springfield Township. He loved playing football with the Springfield Spartans.

Hunter loved being outdoors and going on adventures with his friends and family. He and his sisters and cousins would stay out all day if they could and he was always eager to throw the ball around with his Dad, friends, and neighbors. He also enjoyed collecting sea glass and rocks with his whole family. Hunter had so much fun at family get-togethers and parties.

Hunter was a sweet kid with a great smile. He was strong-willed, quick-witted and independent. Even at a young age, he was generous and quick to help and protect those in need or stand up for the underdog. He will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever.

Hunter will be deeply missed by his parents, Diana Ebie and Sam Chambers; sisters, Charlotte and Amelia; his MalMal and PaPal, Shelly and Roger Ebie; Grandma and Grandpa, Paul and Stacy Chambers; great-grandparents, Charles Higgins, Jeanne Ebie, Rick and Karen Barry; aunts and uncles, Matt and Lora Ebie, Ryan “FatFat” Ebie, Kara Ebie, Chad Ebie and Angela Porter, Julie and TG Walker, Ashley Chambers.
