Delores Joan Mundy
CUYAHOGA FALLS - Delores Joan Mundy of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 86.
Delores was born on December 31, 1936 in West Salem, OH to the late Forrest Bowersock and Ruth Lee. She grew up in Akron and graduated from North High School. She was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls and worked in local retail through the years. Later in life she went back to school to earn a degree in Business Management from the University of Akron.
Delores liked to travel. She would generally spend time each summer vacationing at Crow Lake, Ontario staying in cabins that her grandfather built. She also enjoyed the Caribbean, having taken several cruises there over the years. Delores was an avid reader and crafter. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching and listening to birds. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Mundy; sister, Marilyn Wagoner; and sons, David and Douglas Mundy. She is survived by her sister, Betty Metz; son, Eric Mundy; and three grandsons, Daniel, Matthew and Andrew.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on MONDAY, December 18, 2023 at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street with Chaplain Holly Spencer-Trueman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on MONDAY at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
