Irene (Kathleen) Tramonte

-

Irene (Kathleen) Tramonte was born on February 13th, 1951, in Akron, Ohio. She passed away on December 9th, 2023, unexpectedly in her home.

Irene is survived by her loving husband, Michael, her children Rachael (Rein) and Michael, her brother Don and his wife Louise, and their children, and her beloved grandchildren, Owen and Blake. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Don and Maxine Sendelbach. Irene and Mike met in high school, in a typing class. She graduated from St. Mary’s and Mike graduated from Hoban. They married in 1977 and had their two children. Those who knew these two knew how madly in love with each other they always were. Irene and her husband travelled the world, had endless adventures, and loved to dote on their grandchildren. They had the type of love everyone dreams about. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary in October.

Irene was passionate about 4-H ever since her daughter Rachael joined in 1989, and helped countless children make their 4-H dreams come true. She loved helping the Cloverbuds make crafts and to find their niche in 4-H. She spent countless hours helping children, decorating stalls, working at the fair, and helping children make memories that will last a lifetime. She was an advisor for Sharon Flying Horse and Pony Club in Medina, Ohio for 35 years, and retired last November. Irene spent several years with JC Penny. She also ran a funeral preparations program at her church, St. Victors in Richfield, Ohio, for several years.

Irene was the most selfless, upbeat, kindest, and loyal person you would ever hope to meet. Even through her medical trials in the past few years she never once complained. She was small, but she was mighty. She was a survivor. She was fierce. She always did anything necessary to make someone’s load lighter by helping to carry their burdens.

There are no words to describe how deeply she will be missed. Irene truly made the world a softer place. Heaven has gained a mighty angel. She never said no to anyone in need and was the truest example of a good person. She was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend, and we will miss her so much until we see her again.

Calling hours will be held at Ciriello and Carr Funeral home (39 S. Miller Rd. Fairlawn) on Sunday, December 17th from 1-3:30pm.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 18th, at 9:30am at St. Victors Church in Richfield, Ohio. (3435 Everette Rd) Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn immediately following the service, and lunch to follow at 11:30.
