THORNEY RUFC
Thorney have finished second in Division One West of the Eastern Counties League, even though their final two games won’t take place because of opposition player availability and cup commitments.
Coach Chris Phillips said: “I am so proud of the lads. We ventured into a new league with the ambition to finish top four so to come second in our first season is a reflection on how the lads have progressed and developed as a team and I cant wait to push for promotion next season.”
