Stop the nonsense over ticket prices

-

TRAIN operators have been charging passengers differently, one price for the internet and the other prices for the ticket machines.

Someone must ask do train operators and the Government think everyone has the internet?

When it comes to public transport, people are being treated differently with the internet and non-internet, especially when it comes to paying for the fares.

They should not be allowed to do this for working people, holidaymakers or the elderly. We certainly shouldn’t trust the internet when it comes to banking and even with our money. Prices should be the same for fares full stop.

Do train operators think it’s right to treat passengers differently? Some passengers would rather pay by cash, and some might not – it’s just part of life and it’s totally up to us what we want to do. But the Government and the train operators are just wrecking this county further.

Fewer passengers will use the trains. I can see it’s going to happen that trains are going to start making a loss and they will be in decline more. The Government keeps forcing us to use the internet whether we like it or not.

While I am talking about public transport, I would like to add that the Tory Government needs to show more interest in it. Councils and tram bosses have been pushing the Department for Transport, Mark Harper and Rishi Sunak for further funds for the trams because they are helping the buses but refusing to support the trams. Something similar to the cap on fares like they have for buses should be done.

I bet I am speaking for everyone on this that we all have had enough of this Government. Even though everything that goes wrong is their fault, they are doing nothing about it. Time is now ticking and it is going to be bye bye for Rishi Sunak and his clowns.
