NEATH singer Katherine Jenkins hosted a star-studded bash, including The One Show host Alex Jones and TV presenter Piers Morgan, to celebrate her 44th birthday. The singer, who hails from Neath, hosted a very glitzy celebration.

Posting a series of glamorous photos to Instagram, Katherine’s guest list included Alex, Piers, one half of Ant and Dec, Declan Donnelly, and actor Andy Serkis. The celebrations took place at private dining restaurant Bacchanalia Mayfair in London.

Katherine captioned the post: “Celebrating my 44th trip around the sun with the people I love” followed by a red love heart emoji. Alex also shared photos of the event to her Instagram story, saying it was a “fun and special night” and wishing Katherine a happy birthday.

Recently Katherine enjoyed going to Taylor Swift’s concert in the Principality Stadium and looked absolutely stunning in a denim shorts get-up with cowboy boots. The mezzo-soprano enjoyed a meal at Cardiff’s Pasture restaurant ahead of the gig.

Wearing a T-shirt showing Taylor’s 1989 album, Katherine posted to Instagram how much fun she had at the show. She said: “It’s amazing what one night out with your girlfriends can do for your soul! So thankful for my amazing mum friends & the fun they brought to Wales yesterday. And @ Taylorswift, you were pretty awesome too!” followed by a clapping hands emoji.

Katherine also shared videos of her and her friends dancing and singing along at the gig.

She was not the only celebrity in attendance with Welsh-rugby-player-turnednfl-star Louis Rees-zammit, musician Amy Wadge, radio presenters Owain Wyn Evans, and Huw Stephens also at the concert.
