What film could your new set soundtrack?

It’s my diary of the last couple of years – healing, growth, redefining who I am after heartbreak. It’s a soundtrack for anyone on a healing journey, like Eat, Pray, Love. Who’d you like to produce?

Nickel Creek. I grew up loving bluegrass and they’re three of the most talented musicians in the world. It’d be inspiring.

What was your first record?

Shania Twain Come On Over.

What’s the last album that you bought?

Justin Timberlake Everything

What records most influenced you? Lee Ann Womack Call Me Crazy,

The Chicks Home, Alison Krauss & Union Station Live.

Was anyone in your family a musician?

My paternal grandpa played banjo and sang.

Did you ever write songs ‘under the influence’?

[Laughs] Doin’ It Right – a pretty good wine buzz.

What’d you ask your music hero? Dolly Parton, what she’s most proud of in her career?

What’s the oddest circumstan­ce that inspired a song?

My divorce sure inspired a lot of songs. Who’d you like to cover one of your songs?

What backstage routine that fans won’t know about makes you laugh most?

Before every show, my band and

I put our hands in and, on the count of three, scream at the top of our lungs.

What fact about you may surprise fans?

I’m super-shy and pretty introvert. What unfulfille­d ambitions do you have?

To get into acting.
