Sancho close to Dortmund return as Villa bid is ‘on table’ for Serie A ace

Whise begin today’s transfer rumour round-up with news of Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, and proposed departure from Old Trafford this month.

Sky Deutschland reports that Sancho could be on his way back to former club Borussia Dortmund, with the German side having already ‘verbally agreed’ a deal with the England international.

United themselves will be finalised sooner rather than later. The loan will cost Dortmund around £3million, a figure that will include Sancho’s wages.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa have an offer
‘on the table’ for Hellas Verona star Cyril Ngonge, according to L’Arena. The Villans are understood to be pushing hard to reach a concrete agreement for the versatile attacking midfielder.
The 3AM Verdict: There’s a lot to unpack here. Firstly, whether an agreement has already been reached or not, it is clear that Villa have their hearts set on luring Ngonge to the Premier League. But if the player is reluctant, then it could be the case that they are forced to cut their losses and resume their search elsewhere.
And finally, Wolves and Crystal Palace are said to be battling it out for the signature of Fenerbahce wide man Bright Osayi-Samuel, as per Star Gazetesi. The former QPR man has caught the eye with his displays in the Turkish top flight this term.
The 3AM Verdict: With six goal contributions in 24 outings at full-back this term, Osayi-Samuel is a real danger on the front foot, and at a price of around £8.6m, could absolutely be worth a gamble.
