Whise begin today’s transfer rumour round-up with news of Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, and proposed departure from Old Trafford this month.

The winger hasn’t played for the Red Devils since falling out with manager Erik ten Hag and is widely expected to seal a loan exit in the coming days. To that end,

Sky Deutschland reports that Sancho could be on his way back to former club Borussia Dortmund, with the German side having already ‘verbally agreed’ a deal with the England international.

It is understood that a package with

United themselves will be finalised sooner rather than later. The loan will cost Dortmund around £3million, a figure that will include Sancho’s wages.

The 3AM Verdict: This is a deal that suits everybody involved. Sancho needs an escape route, United need him off the books and Dortmund, for their part, will be bringing home a prodigal son who made a truly startling impact last time around.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa have an offer

‘on the table’ for Hellas Verona star Cyril Ngonge, according to L’Arena. The Villans are understood to be pushing hard to reach a concrete agreement for the versatile attacking midfielder.

The 3AM Verdict: There’s a lot to unpack here. Firstly, whether an agreement has already been reached or not, it is clear that Villa have their hearts set on luring Ngonge to the Premier League. But if the player is reluctant, then it could be the case that they are forced to cut their losses and resume their search elsewhere.

And finally, Wolves and Crystal Palace are said to be battling it out for the signature of Fenerbahce wide man Bright Osayi-Samuel, as per Star Gazetesi. The former QPR man has caught the eye with his displays in the Turkish top flight this term.

The 3AM Verdict: With six goal contributions in 24 outings at full-back this term, Osayi-Samuel is a real danger on the front foot, and at a price of around £8.6m, could absolutely be worth a gamble.
