Perthshire presenter is new podcast host

Perthshire presenter Danni Menzies has been named as the new host of a podcast designed to raise awareness of the Health Lottery.

A former host of hit property show‘a Place in the Sun’, Kenmore native Danni is to anchor‘paying it Forward’.

The series aims to delve into the heart of human experience, celebratin­g successes while championin­g the spirit of giving back.

Each episode, spanning 15 minutes, will feature conversati­ons with guests from various fields including film, TV, music, sport, charity, and literature.

Danni said:“i’m thrilled to be anchoring my first-ever podcast series with the Health Lottery and cannot wait to share uplifting and entertaini­ng stories of kindness, resilience and celebratin­g achievemen­ts with people from all walks of life!”

From overcoming adversity to achieving health goals, from winning accolades to spreading kindness, the podcast will explore a diverse spectrum of human experience­s.

Guests for upcoming episodes include former Scottish rugby player Kenny Logan, biohacker and Willpowder­s founder Davinia Taylor, Loose Women’s Kaye Adams and eight-time Emmy and five-time Bafta-awarded filmmaker and photograph­er Doug Allan. Also on the bill is The Fizz’s Jay Aston, Michelin star chef Andy Beynon, actress Nicola Stephenson, and best-selling authors Chris Brookmyre, Adele Parks and Helen Fields.

The Health Lottery has helped to raise more than £130 million in support of health and wellbeing causes in communitie­s across Great Britain.

‘Paying it Forward’is set to debut on all podcast platforms at 7am on Thursday, May 23. These include Apple, Spotify and Amazon Music, with new episodes released fortnightl­y.
