‘Upgraded’ experience for festival
A yearly gin and rum festival in Maidenhead is right around the corner – promising an ‘upgraded’ experience from previous years.
Gin & Rum on the Farm returns to Fifield on Saturday, May 25, marking its fifth year.
It is set to feature ‘top-notch’ entertainment via a full line up of live music and DJs, and a selection of locally crafted and internationally renowned gins and rums.
Leading the charge on the main stage is Sweet Female Attitude, famed for their 00’s garage anthem ‘Flowers.’
Joining them is ‘one of the UK's most popular Taylor Swift tribute acts,’ Kaylie, supported by Bracknell-based band The Mustard.
The festival is kicking off the start of summer with some ‘exciting changes,’ including the introduction of Jonny's Disco
Bingo, Silent Disco Tent and an inflatable park for the kids.
Disco Bingo, a lively fusion of dancing, confetti, and prizes, will be presented by its comedic host, Jonny Walker.
Prizes up for grabs include cash, home appliances, tech, as well as plenty of drink giveaways.
Bounce Kingdom and garden games await younger festivalgoers, offering unlimited entertainment for £15 per child, allowing adults to enjoy the festivities stress-free.
In terms of food, homemade Greek street food from local vendor O&H Greeklicious will be there – although all are welcome to bring a homemade picnic.
For those seeking alternatives to gin and rum, the main bar will offer a variety, including local beers, Pimm’s, Prosecco, and soft drinks.
Secure a spot at this year's event by purchasing advance tickets online. There you can reserve tables, chairs, and space for private gazebos.
An adult all-day ticket runs for £18, while outdoor table hire is £20 and a gazebo plot is £30.
Gin & Rum on the Farm is held on Stroud Farm on Forest Green Road (between Fifield and Holyport), the location of Fifield and the Sausage and Cider Festival.
