KARL ROBINSON was furious with “shambolic refereeing” in Salford’s defeat at AFC Wimbledon that led to two of his players being sent off.

The hosts were defending the lead given to them by Omar Bugiel’s header when a Salford player appeared to encroach – Ammies captain Elliot Watt and Theo Vassell then seeing red for protesting.

Bradford 1 Gillingham 0

STEPHEN CLEMENCE admitted Gillingham have not scored enough goals.

Brad Halliday netted the only goal just before halftime. Clemence said: “That’s been the story of our season – not enough goals.”

Bradford manager Graham Alexander hailed the goalscorer, saying: “The consistenc­y we’re looking for is epitomised in Brad.

“He deserves that winner because he’s been superb. To play 100 games in two years shows resilience.”

Forest Green 0 MK Dons 2

BOSS Mike Williamson hailed MK Dons’ character after Max Dean and Alex Gilbey got the goals which saw off Forest Green.

Williamson said: “It was a real hard battle for 95 minutes and we had to show character.”

Home manager Steve Cotterill said: “I’m disappoint­ed with the result and the manner of the goals but not the performanc­e.”

Mansfield 1 Crawley 4

CRAWLEY boss Scott Lindsey did not enjoy the first half at Mansfield.

After Kellan Gordon, Nicholas Tsaroulla, Danilo Orsi and Klaidi Lolos had scored, Lindsey revealed: “I know we were 2-0 up but I wasn’t happy with our firsthalf performanc­e. I made really clear. Second half I thought we managed things much better.”

Mansfield manager Nigel Clough said: “Everything that could go wrong did go wrong on the pitch.”

Notts County 3 Harrogate 0

STUART MAYNARD is keen for Notts County to build on a long-awaited home win. Macaulay Langstaff, Jodi Jones and Jim O’Brien scored.

“I know how much it means to everyone around the football club to get that good feeling again,” said Maynard.

Harrogate boss Simon Weaver said: “It was one of the best away performanc­es from this team.”

Tranmere 1 Walsall 3

MAT SADLER backed Walsall to make some noise in the chase for the play-offs.

Goals from Jamille Matt, Taylor Allen and Brandon Comley left them three points outside the top seven and Sadler said: “It’s going to go right down to the wire and we’re going to be in there shouting.”

Regan Hendry had put Rovers ahead but manager Nigel Adkins said: “We started well but we won’t accept what happened in the second half.”
