NO one knows exactly what it takes to be one of Taylor Swift’s in-crowd. But a sense of style would seem to be essential.

The 34-year-old singer took a break from her Eras Tour to dine at an upmarket London restaurant with pals such as model Kate Moss, designer Stella McCartney and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

American writer Lena Dunham, 38, who Ms Swift was a bridesmaid for in 2021, also joined the party at Argentinianthemed Casa Cruz in Notting Hill – a favourite haunt of David and Victoria Beckham plus Prince Harry and Meghan.

Cara Delevingne, 31, and her girlfriend of two years Minke, 32, were also there on Tuesday along with American girlband Haim plus 1980s rocker Chrissie Hynde, 72. But it was not just the company of Ms McCartney, 52, that Ms Swift was delighted to have – the Shake It Off singer dressed herself from head to toe in her friend’s designer clothes.

She wore a £1,150 moulded corset with a £1,509 wool coat from the label. Fleabag creator Ms Waller-Bridge, 38, also wore a £2,605 camel coat from the McCartney range.

She was seen laughing with her co-star Andrew Scott, 47, who is a close friend of Ms Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn, as she left the restaurant — the same one where Rita Ora flouted Covid rules in 2020 to host her 30th birthday party.

Ms Swift is currently on a four-day break from her record-breaking Eras Tour before starting a threenight stint in Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium tomorrow.

She has not sung a note there yet but thousands of Liverpudlians are already fleeing the city and going on holiday for the weekend to escape the Swiftie-mania.

Flights departing from John Lennon Airport have soared by 79 per cent ahead of her first show.

One local said: ‘As soon as I saw the Taylor Swift murals going up, I made a plan to escape. I’m leaving for Majorca and coming back on Sunday, meaning I’ll miss all the Swiftie madness and enjoy some 26C heat.’

Over the past week, Liverpool has transformed into ‘Taylor Town’ and the City Council has created a trail of 11 art installations in various locations, each dedicated to one of her albums.

Data about Liverpool departures was collected by holiday company On the Beach, with its chief customer officer Zoe Harris, saying: ‘Liverpool has had a Taylor Swift takeover.

‘Everywhere you go in the city you see her face and, with thousands of fans descending on the city, it’s no wonder that the non-Swifties are rushing to the airport.’
