‘Joke’ about killing David Attenborough

PETE ADDIS

THE former South Shropshire candidate called for Sir David Attenborough to be ‘killed off’ and was banned from Facebook for 30 days for using a racial slur.

The refrigeration company director also made a highly offensive racist joke about ‘brown babies’. Reform dropped him as a candidate. When Mr Addis, 41, was approached for comment by The Mail on Sunday, he said he ‘obviously’ regretted making the remarks, adding: ‘The trouble is that I write stuff and people take it literally, when it’s a joke. It’s just being silly really.’

Islamic State, Mr Khan and Mrs Obama

AMODIO AMATO

THE one-time hopeful in the constituency of Stevenage in Hertfordshire once declared that London is an ‘Islamic State’ and suggested there would be ‘a Muslim army run by Sadiq Khan’, a Mail on Sunday investigation found.

The mechanical engineer has also branded Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf as a ‘Hamas terrorist supporter’. He was also removed as a candidate by Reform.

Mr Amato, 69, also shared the conspiracy theory that Michelle Obama is ‘a transvestite’. The party said he was removed from the group ‘for comments that clearly breach any basic idea of decency’.

‘Leave him to die’ rage at Ben Wallace

IRIS LEASK

THE computer company director, who is hoping to run as the MP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine, has said former defence secretary Ben Wallace ‘should be left to die’ in Afghanistan and, in a separate post about pet evaucations from Kabul, said Mr Wallace should ‘die with them’ if the rescue failed.

The 69-year-old has also called for meat-eaters to ‘eat other humans’ and for the human race to be ‘obliterated’.

Reform has suspended her candidacy pending a further investigation.
