Riding in full pro kit: yes or no?
I fully support wearing team kit. And the rainbow, yellow, polka dot, and any other jersey you want. Life is too short to be told you can’t dress up like your heroes and go practise a sport you love. Tony Tuzzolino
Last March I was at Papillon in Tenerife having a coffee. A rider pulled up wearing the rainbow jersey. About 10 mins later he literally choked on his coffee and sank under the table. Remco had arrived. Wearing the REAL rainbow jersey! Phil Mcnamara
Pro teams sell their replica kit for others to wear. Football clubs do this as it’s a huge source of income. Problem is some people would like to dictate what is appropriate to wear. Jack Sinclair
I once rode with a guy who had only just got into cycling, he wore an Arsenal jersey and he flew up Mam Nick, passing a number of club cyclists. Kit doesn’t mean a thing, it’s the engine underneath it that counts. Richard Goldthorpe
We might be biased as the UK’S leading manufacturer of retro cycling jerseys, but we think there’s nothing better than donning the jersey of a team you loved from the past and supporting the sport of cycling. For many of us, seeing Lemond in a La Vie Claire or Merckx in a Molteni is what got us into cycling in the first place! Prendas Ciclismo
I love retro kit! I have Z, Mapei, Peugeot and Gatorade-chateau d’ax jerseys. I’d love a Carrera one too. James Tresman
All fine, so long as it MATCHES. Mark Leyland
If all the fans were wearing team jerseys, the revenue it would generate for teams would surely help. It would also be cool to see all those different team kits. Joseph O’toole
