Bitec hosts conference on sustainable packaging trends with 2,000 exhibitors
The latest technologies, solutions and trends shaping the future of sustainable processing and packaging are presented during “ProPak Asia 2024”, which kicks off today and runs daily from 10am to 6pm until Saturday, at Bitec, Bang Na-Trat Road.
Organised by Informa Markets Thailand, this is Asia’s largest processing, packaging and production technology exhibition that brings
2,000 exhibitors from
45 countries to connect, network and discover new opportunities to enhance operations and drive sustainable growth.
Focusing on the theme “Empowering Sustainability Processing & Packaging Success With Ideation, Innovation and Investment”, the event features eight specialised zones covering the entire spectrum of the food, processing and packaging industries.
They are Processing Tech Asia; Packaging Tech Asia; Drink Tech Asia; Pharma Tech Asia; Lab & Test Asia; Packaging Solution Asia; Coding, Marking & Labelling Asia; and Cold Chain, Logistics, Warehousing & Factory Asia.
There are also 12 dedicated international pavilions showcasing the l atest innovations from Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, North America, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Taiwan.
Other highlights include the ProPak Gourmet workshop, Future Food Corner, Lab & Test Theatre, Packaging Design Clinic and a display of winning designs from the WorldStar, AsiaStar & ThaiStar Packaging Awards.
