OUTLANDER IS HERE

-

The reimagined and reinvented new Mitsubishi Outlander seven-seat SUV is here at long last, ready to take up its position as the new flagship of the Mitsubishi range. With a combination of modern interior and exterior design, the best in all-wheel-drive technologies and advanced equipment, the Outlander represents a new era for the Japanese brand.

Based on an all-new platform with the ability to accept a hybrid drivetrain, the Outlander has been improved in quality in every area, and since its global launch it has received world-wide acclaim. The bold exterior design is based on the Japanese product concept of I-FU-DO-DO, which translates into authentic and majestic.

The Dynamic Shield front end creates a substantial presence that is accentuated by

LED front fog lamps, LED sequential turn signals and daytime running lights, as well as a front skid plate. At the rear, there is a similar skid plate, rear spoiler, and LED high-mounted brake light.

Locally, the Outlander is powered by the latest generation 2.5-litre Duel VVT DOHC engine producing 135 kw and 245 Nm of torque, coupled with a simulated eight-speed CVT and advanced AWD system. Thanks to 210 mm of ground clearance and Super All-wheel Control (S-AWC), the Outlander lives up to the off-road pedigree that Mitsubishi models are known for.

The cabin of the all-new Outlander oozes luxury and comfort thanks to soft touch surfaces and premium materials. A 12.3-inch Digital Driver Display is flanked by an eight-inch

Smartphone-link display on GLS models or a nine-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio with navigation on Aspire models.

Standard on the GLS models are features such as keyless operation system with engine switch, front and rear park distance control, a rear-view camera, heated synthetic leather seats with suede combination, and an automatic tailgate. Aspire models gain leather seats, an eight-way power adjustable, power lumbar support and memory function driver’s seat, and a power sliding panoramic sunroof.
