With the first wind farms reaching commercial operation in 2014 and a total of 34 operationa­l wind farms as of the fourth quarter of 2023, the value of industry platforms like Windaba is undeniable.

Now in its 13th year, Windaba attracts more than 900 conference delegates, including industry experts, entreprene­urs, investors and government officials. With South Africa committed to diversifyi­ng its energy mix, wind energy is positioned to play a crucial role in transformi­ng the energy landscape.
