P54M Ospital ning Capas expansion project starts
CAPAS, Tarlac — Senator Lito Lapid and Mayor Rosel l er “Bo o t s” Rodriguez on Tuesday led the ground-breaking ceremony for the expansion of Ospital Ning Capas.
Lapid said he allocated some P54-million for the improvement of the health facility located at the Municipal Hall compound.
“Hiningi ito ng mga kabalen natin dito sa Capas at ngayon ay naggroundbreaking na tayo. Sa mga darating na buwan ay mapapakinabangan na ito ng mas maraming taga-Capas,” he said.
The senator said he supports funding for healthcare facilities as they provide long-term benefits to the public.
With the project, Rodriguez the hospital's bed capacity will expand by adding a second floor to the existing single-story healthcare facility.
“Kailangan na po ng rehabilitation at expansion ng aming ospital at kapag natapos ito, magkakaroon po ng additional 30 hospital beds na makakatulong sa mga kababayan natin,” he said.
Rodriguez said the project is expected to be completed in six months.
Rodriguez thanked Lapid for his support to the town of Capas by providing projects that will benefit the people.
The senator also pledged funding for the construction of the town’s first public dialysis center.
“Malaking tulong po ang dala-dalang biyaya ni Senator Lapid dito sa aming bayan at ito p o ay t al agan g pakikinabangan ng mga taga-Capas,” Rodriguez said.
Also present during the groundbreaking ceremony were Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid, Arrowhead Construction Owner Tony De Jesus, and other local officials.
