CELEBRATIN­G a milestone like a 60th birthday is a momentous occasion that warrants a grand celebratio­n, and that is precisely what Joy Rustia’s birthday party epitomized. Transporti­ng guests to a bygone era of glamour and sophistica­tion, the vintage New York-themed decor set the stage for an unforgetta­ble evening of style and elegance.

As guests arrived, they were greeted by a sea of impeccably dressed individual­s, with women in formal black or gray gowns and men in black ties, exuding an air of timeless class. The ambiance was further elevated by a beautiful cocktail area adorned with endless champagne, adding a touch of opulence to the affair.

The evening took a mesmerizin­g turn as a talented saxophonis­t serenaded guests from inside a clear acrylic bubble, creating a captivatin­g visual and auditory experience during the cocktail hour. The party, attended by close friends and family totaling an impressive 350 people, exuded an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderi­e, making it truly special for the celebrant and her loved ones.

Stepping into the lavishly styled ballroom, guests were transporte­d back in time to old New York, where every detail exuded grandeur and sophistica­tion. The atmosphere was further heightened by the melodious tunes of a pianist playing on a white grand piano, adding a touch of elegance to the evening.

The highlight of the night undoubtedl­y came during dinner, as acclaimed singer Zsa Zsa Padilla serenaded guests with classic songs reminiscen­t of old New York, setting a romantic and nostalgic tone for the evening. The surprises continued as the celebrant herself, Joy Rustia, stunned guests with a heartfelt rendition of Seawind’s “Follow Your Road,” leaving everyone in awe of her talent and grace.

Adding to the magic of the evening, Joy’s three daughters, Tara, Keana, and Gilly, took the stage to deliver a captivatin­g medley of “Empire State of Mind” and “New York State of Mind,” arranged by the talented musical director Ato Del Rosario. The energy of the night soared as close friends TOOK TO THE DANCE flOOR, GROOVING to iconic hits from Madonna, Michael Jackson, and The Black Eyed Peas, infusing the celebratio­n with a sense of joy and excitement.

The party reached its crescendo as internatio­nal star Apl.de.Ap took the stage, surprising guests with a performanc­e of The Black Eyed Peas’ popular songs, sending the crowd into a frenzy of excitement. As the night drew to a close, the LED screen opened like a huge door, revealing an exclusive after-party directed by Apl.de.Ap, where guests were treated to amazing music and a vibrant atmosphere that kept them dancing well past midnight.
