ISWK hosts Academic Excellence Awards
Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (ISWK) held its prestigious Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony to honour meritorious students for the academic year 2023-24 on May 30.
The event featured the Late Mathradas Khimji Memorial Awards, Kanaksi Khimji Scholarships, and Academic Excellence Awards, a press release said.
The school was honoured to witness the presence of Ajay Mathradas Khimji – Founder of Mosaic, and senior director of Khimji Ramdas Group, and Nailesh Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas Group as the chief guests for the evening’s programme. Other esteemed included Anil Khimji, Rajendra Ved, members of the Education
Cell, other distinguished members of the school management committees of ISWK and ISWK International, parents, students and well-wishers.
The Late Mathradas Khimji Memorial Awards were presented by Ajay Khimji to the meritorious students of classes VI-XII who have excelled in academics in 2023-24. The Kanaksi Khimji Scholarships were presented to students for their stupendous performance in academics, sports, and coscholastic activities, marking a pioneering initiative in the Indian schools in Oman. To recognise the commitment and hard work of the students, the CBSE toppers of classes X and XII were also felicitated. Section-wise toppers and subject toppers were also honoured with Academic Excellence Awards.
An inter-house short film competition showcased the creative talents of students, with Vivekananda House winning the award for the best short film.
