H M visits Kuwait to offer condolences
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik offered condolences on Monday to Sheikh Misha’al al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, the Al Sabah family and people of Kuwait on the death of the forgiven, by the will of the Almighty Allah, the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, when Sheikh Misha’al received His Majesty the Sultan at the Emiri Airport.
During their meeting, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere and heartfelt sympathies on the immense loss, praying to the Almighty Allah to have mercy on his soul, to rest him in peace in heavens and grant the Al Sabah family and the people
of Kuwait fortitude to bear the loss.
On his turn, the new Emir of Kuwait expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan and his accompanying delegation for their sincere sentiments. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him continued good health and spare Omani people any harm.
His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the condolence visit by an official delegation that comprised Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Council of Ministers, Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Sayyid Taimour bin Asa’ad al Said, Chairman of
Board of Governors of Central Bank of Oman, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of Royal Office, Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of State Council, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr Abdullah bin Nassir al Harrasi, Minister of Information, Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud al Busaidi, Advisor at Diwan of Royal Court, and Dr Saleh bin A’amir al Kharousi, Ambassador of Oman to Kuwait.
His Majesty the Sultan returned to Muscat on Monday evening.
